February, 2005 JoDell Whitehead met with Benjamin Moore Paints representatives and the journey begins. Around November 1, 2005 the business began with the Woodlands retail store opening.

Former Sherwin-Williams employees and Benjamin Moore Account Representatives were the primary sources of structure of the retail store. Customer base is based on location, advertising and outside sales with word of mouth being most important.

We are a full service paint store, including Benjamin Moore paints (Signature Store), Devoe Paints, Kemiko Concrete Products and paint store sundries which consist of thinners and solvents, tape, paper, plastics, primers and equipment to assist residential and professional painter. The store is setup to accommodate the special and hard to get products that are not everyday items in most stores.

Our first Retail Store is located on Interstate 45 North, between Spring, Texas and The Woodlands in the Woodlands Home Center. This serves the Spring, Woodlands, Tomball, Magnolia and Conroe areas.

Whitehead Paint serves the Greater Houston area through telephone or computer generated leads through the use of our delivery trucks. This is done for persons needing minimum amounts of products at no charge to the customer or delivery fees if less than minimum orders. This has helped our business to expand to areas like the Port of Houston, Baytown, Pasadena, Katy and Sugarland.

 JoDell Whitehead, owner is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Texas. She graduated with a BBA from the University of Saint Thomas in Houston. Her career began in real estate sales, evolved into property rehabbing and has grown into the product supply business.

Currently, there are four full-time and part-time employees with 23 years of experience in the paint industry and a wealth of experts at their disposal. Finding answers and getting solutions to special projects at reasonable prices are just some of the goals that challenge them in their day to day operations.

Approaching their first anniversary has been a tremendous experience in growth, fun and hard work for everyone in the organization. Now, we are looking forward to expanding our customer base and providing the best possible service we can provide.
